Success story of Anna Nolte and Hofgut Rosenau
- For over six years, I accompanied the international Grand Prix rider Anna Nolte as a trainer and instructor of her horses. When we first met, Anna Nolte was still riding a leisure horse with no sporting ambitions. She originally asked me if I could help her learn to ride her then leisure horse with contact. Anna showed great talent and a feel for horses. She was very ambitious in lessons, and so a collaboration developed that lasted several years. During this six-year collaboration, with the support of her husband Hans Nolte, an entrepreneur from Dreieich, she made the leap to the International Grand Prix. In these few years, Anna achieved victories and placings in Grand Prix and Grand Spécial, nationally and internationally, up to five-star level. Through diligent training, Anna improved her performance level from season to season and was able to win the title in the senior Grand Prix category at her first participation in the Hessian Championships. Following this, she even earned her gold riding badge within just six months. A success story that was probably unprecedented at that time. Together with Hans and Anna, I built up Hofgut Rosenau GmbH, one of the most beautiful equestrian facilities in the world, from the planning stage onwards as managing director.
